In my personal life, I am very happy to announce that I've been allowed to sign a contract with a new employer Deva Mecaneyes in Västerås. Soon I'll begin my new journey as a postgraduate engineer, and I'm thrilled that I've been fortunate to sign with a company that I believe that I'll be very happy to work with. I look forward to growing as an engineer, and as an inventor. My role will be "Product developer and structural engineer", and I could not think a better description of what I want to do for a living. I've been able to sell our apartment and prepare for the move down south to Västerås. So I'm really excited and can't wait to finally get to work, grow and further develop my skillset :D!

Since my last update when I finally completed my masters' thesis, I've managed to manufacture a New prototype of the coupler, in accordance with the technical drawings developed during the thesis. Everything looks amazing and I'm really proud of my work, and I can't wait to attach the prototype on my socket to test it out.

However, I've yet been able to connect everything to my socket since the current socket of my prosthetic leg is a way to big as a result of weight loss I can't see the point of connecting everything if I can't use it in my everyday life. And unfortunately I've somehow been forgotten at the hospital, I had a new cast done of my residual limb in 2018, but for some reason, I never got the new socket. So hopefully I'll get my socket in the near future, I've contacted the hospital once again for a new casting session for a new socket, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Another fantastic news about the work surrounding the coupler is that discussions with prosthetic manufacturers have been established to discuss the future for my product. One of my dreams is to reach the market with my solutions since I believe that the market is slowly changing towards a more "Quick release based" approach of prosthetic systems setup. And the that all the users who contacted me asking about how to purchase the coupler could get it in their hands.

Hopefully, this is something that could be achieved :)
